Casper Babypants

I signed up on the City's website to get emails about free children's events that the city puts on. Every summer, the city does "Music in the Parks" which basically means that they have musicians come put on concerts in the park. Thursday was Casper Babypants at the Silver Lake park. I took the kids thinking that they would really enjoy it, but mostly they said, "Can we go play now?"

Here's the girls after Rachel finally decided that dancing might be kind of fun. It lasted for about an entire 30 seconds... I think she was just shy to be dancing with tons of people around that she didn't know.


Here's Jorgan and I. He bobbed his head and smiled and clapped after every song... but he wouldn't get off my lap. Liz took the picture for me! She's getting pretty good!


BTW... it was cold, cloudy, and a little rainy that day. My kids are way under dressed. It's just hard for me to think about bundling up in the middle of August. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to that!!
